The New Balance Women's SuperComp Elite V3 in Thirty Watt used to be called the Fuelcell Elite, now updated with Energy Arc technology it becomes part of New Balances premium speed range, and upgrades performance for your ultimate marathon race day shoe.
With a huge wedge of the famously effective FuelCell foam under foot, and a carbon plate guiding you forward, the New Balance Women's SuperComp Elite V3 has the essentials to make it a winning super shoe.But its in the details that the performance really steps up a gear. The previously mentioned carbon plate is curved left to right across the foot as well as through its length, this means that when it is loaded with pressure as you foot strike, it compresses across the width, providing an extra pop of energy throughout your stride as the pressure is released.
It also features a highly aggressive cut out throughout the outsole, reaching all the way through the midsole up to the carbon plate. This “strategic midsole void†not only saves weight, but allows the carbon plate to move more freely, transmitting more of its snappy energy directly into your forward momentum.
A bootie upper construction gives a locked in feel with a lightweight and breathable finish.
