Now this really is old school. Released a matter of months after Blue Ribbon Sports became Nike in 1971, the boot known simply as “The Nike†was the Swoosh’s first foray into football.In fact, it was the first piece of footwear of any kind to be adorned with the famous logo – in many ways, it was the boot that launched the brand.
The 2021 remake celebrates 50 years since the original marked the start of Nike’s football story, with only 1971 pairs being released, each individually numbered to create a true collector’s item.
It’s almost identical to the OG – premium leather upper, big white Swoosh, 13-stud moulded soleplate – and includes an archived design document detailing all the important elements so you can see exactly what makes it so special.
